Gavan Doherty – Chief Executive Officer
Gavan is a Business graduate of UCD and holds an MSc in Computers from Queens University, Belfast. Prior to working as a Systems Engineer with telecoms giant Avaya, he founded 247meeting in 2005. A true entrepreneur, Gavan spotted a gap in the market for reliable and easy to use conference call. Over the last 13 years, Gavan has built the business in to a successful audio, video and web conferencing provider. Outside of a busy home life with 2 children, he once managed to attain a City and Guilds qualification in Sound Engineering (1820) and occasionally runs up and down a hill.
Stephen Young – Chief Financial Officer
Stephen is an accomplished and enthusiastic Chartered Accountant, who through his extensive experience has distilled achieving the ambitious to a fine art. Stephen brings value to the business using his unique insight, not to mention his relentlessly sunny disposition and knack for putting anyone at ease with the most complex financial concepts. Stephen has worked in exotic locations like Riyadh, Sydney and his home town of Roscrea. Not sure of the meaning of downtime, outside of the office, Stephen is passionate about volunteering and getting his hands dirty in the community – he encourages you to do the same!
Ronan Conroy – Chief Operating Officer
Ronan has been with 247meeting since the beginning and brings extensive telecommunications and IT experience having worked with Eircom, Imagine, Sage and Sitel for over 15 years. With a Diploma in Project Management and huge technical knowledge, Ronan ensures our customers and staff understand our products and services. Ronan is happiest while problem solving under pressure and is constantly planning and delivering improvements to the business for our customers. A motor racing fan, Ronan frequents Mondello Park and also enjoys striking a chord for The Blaggards.
Daniel Drennan – Developer
Daniel Drennan is a talented and dedicated Software Engineer with over 25 years experience in software development in a variety of disciplines including telecoms, accountancy and database solutions. Daniel’s broad experience includes 12 years working on the design, development and integration of Avaya’s Audio Conferencing Systems (formally Spectel). He has also developed web-based services, voice recognition, microcontroller remote control systems and mobile device solutions. When Daniel is not at work, you will find him performing live music with a variety of bands playing popular music from the 1920’s to 1980’s.
Janusz Kaczmarzyk – Developer
Janusz is a passionate and creative Software Developer who believes ‘can’t is not an option’. He holds a Masters in Data Analysis as well Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering). Janusz is well placed to make the complex, simple and straightforward for our customers. To switch off, Janusz listens to classical music and his favourite instrument is the violin.
Lee Murphy – Engineering
Lee Murphy is a graduate of DIT holding a Bsc. in Computer Science. Lee cut his teeth in Czech Republic working as a Network Engineer for AT&T. On returning to Ireland, Lee has been continuing his journey in system and network engineering with 247meeting. When Lee is not in front of a computer, he has a busy social life and his love of travelling means that he has visited close to 30 countries.
Lara Hughes – Marketing
With extensive Marketing Management experience, Lara is passionate about bringing brands to life through memorable, results orientated communications. Prior to leading Marketing at 247meeting, Lara worked in global telecoms companies BT and Vodafone for over 12 years. Holding a Masters in Business Studies from UCD and a Professional Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute, Lara brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to 247meeting. Outside of work you will find Lara looking after the social diaries of her three lovely ladies or playing tennis despite the rain.
Katie Nevin – Accounts Executive
Katie started with 247meeting in 2018 having completed her studies in business management at the Technological University of Dublin. Initially coming on board in a customer services role, Katie demonstrated an aptitude for accounts and recently undertook a new position in this department. Katie is currently studying for an ACCA qualification and spends whatever free time she has watching documentaries or lounging in the sun.
Yiby Powell – Administration and Customer Services
Yiby has the art of juggling many balls in the air to a tee. Yiby secured her degree in Business Administration while working as a busy Executive Assistant in high profile agribusiness companies in Colombia. This is her first role in a technology company and she’s really enjoying getting to grips with the world of communications and IT. She has been living in Ireland since 2014 and only misses the Colombian weather and exotic fruit a tad. In her downtime, Yiby is cooking, cycling or learning new things.
Justyna Kazio – Finance
Justyna is dedicated to keeping our finances in impeccable order, along with our Tax returns and supplier relations. She invests her full talent and dedication to her finance projects, pushing them over the finish line with due care. After completing a Masters in International Business & Management Justyna fostered her talent for forensic data with a stint in the Missing Persons department of the British Red Cross, she pursued this talent with a qualification in Accounting and has since been with 247meeting for the past 6 years. In her personal life, Justyna aspires to great heights; she dreams of conquering mountains! A voracious reader she is fascinated by an eclectic range of subjects, like radical politics and social history.
