How to create a conference call on your mobile device (Android/iOS)
Situations arise where you’ll need to speak to multiple people located far and wide at the same time. This is when a conference call becomes your new best friend. But is it possible to start a conference call from your regular mobile device? You can, and we’re here to show you how.
Android
- Call your first guest.
Nothing special here, just call as you would normally call.
- Once connected, hit the “Add Call” icon.
The icon is the outline of a person and a large “+” symbol. Once this icon has been selected, the first guest on your call is put on hold.
- Call your second guest.
You can select a guest from your contact list or simply use dial-pad to enter their number.
- Select the “Merge” or “Merge Calls” icon.
Once selected, all lines will be merged into one, now all your guests will be able to speak to and hear one another. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to add more guests. To end the call, select the “End Call” icon.
iOS
- Call your first guest.
