247Lync is a Hosted Unified Communications solution from 247meeting which connects external callers to your Skype for Business Conference Calls. Easy. Powerful.

Skype for Business (formerly Lync) is a powerful tool from Microsoft. It allows your users hold voice, video and screen share calls from one single client.

While this works well for users on your network (or federated users with Skype for Business installed on a high-quality broadband network), it makes it difficult to invite other users to join conference calls.

These others could be:

  • Customers who do not have Skype for Business installed
  • Users in remote areas or on the road where Wi-Fi reliability and quality are poor
  • Suppliers who are on the road and wish to dial in from a mobile phone
  • Anyone who is not on your corporate network.

For these users, 247meeting offers you 247Lync. Setup and use are very easy. You add a new Contact to your corporate Skype for Business address book. When end-users wish to hold a Conference Call with other users that don’t have Skype for Business, they use that contact to connect 247meeting’s global Conference Call system and your Skype for Business call.

Easy to Setup

Allow access from your Skype for Business installation to the domain 247Lync.com (conferencing@247Lync.com)

Easy to Use

Invitations are populated with 247meeting dial-in details automatically. Hosts just join the 247meeting call with the Lync ‘Audio Bridge’ contact.

High-Quality Audio

This is not a VoIP solution. Callers are connected by 247meeting’s High-Quality PSTN lines, regardless of their own network.
